My friend Rachel introduced me to this great band called White Tie Affair. After looking them up on Youtube I have completely fallen in love with them! They are great! Up beat and easy to listen to! I can relate to their songs, which is always a good thing, and today I found out that they are coming to Warped Tour! I can't wait to see them live, as I'm sure they will be even better!
So far my favorite song is Take It Home!

Marry Me
Well I know that I have lots of thoughts about this, but I want to hear yours too! Please comment and let me know what you think! :)
P.s. Thanks to Tim for sending me this!
Thought for the day
The way you're moving in your sleep,
the way you look before you leap.
The strange illusions that you keep,
you don't know, but I'm noticing...
the way you look before you leap.
The strange illusions that you keep,
you don't know, but I'm noticing...

Question of the day:
When has love broken through in my life?
"The saints are so aware that love is not something to be worked for-to be worked up to or learned in workshops. It breaks through now and then, in ways suddenly obvious.
Maybe it's looking at a sunset or a beloved one; maybe it's a moment of insight or a gut intuition of the foundational justice and truth of all things. But when we discover love, we want to thank somebody for it. Because we know we didn't create it. We know we didn't practice it; we are just participating in it.
Love is that which underlies and grounds all things. As Dante said, love is the energy "that moves the sun, the moon and the other stars."

Thoughts unspoken...
I don't even know what I'm going to write here. I guess I'm hoping that the sound of the key board clicking will help drown out everything else that is going on.
Where can you draw the line between the people that don't matter and the people who do? The drama that is worth caring about, and the drama that is not? How much of what people say should we let get to us? I know what you're thinking, none at all. Only the ones we really love, those are the ones that should matter. But what if it's deeper than that? What if those that don't matter have power over the ones that do?
The drama this week has been more than I can handle. Do people really just not realize the amount of stress they are causing? I really don't think they do! I think we never really realize the effect we have on people, until we are put into their shoes...and even then we don't see it...
I don't want anyone to comment on this. If you read it, that's great. I'm sure it wasn't meant towards you. No one really reads this anyways, so there really isn't a point. I'm sorry if I seem rather depressed. As I'm sure you can tell, it's been a rather long day...
"Sometimes I wonder about my life. I lead a small life. Well, not small, but valuable. And sometimes I wonder, do I do it because I like it, or because I haven't been brave? So much of what I see reminds me of something I read in a book, when shouldn't it be the other way around? I don't really want an answer. I just want to send this cosmic question out into the void. So good night, dear void."

Her Morning Elegance
I came across this video last week on youtube completely by chance. When I first watched the video, I only watched and didn't really listen to the song. But after buying it on iTunes and listening to it for a few days, I have completely fallen in love with it!
Sun been down for days
A pretty flower in a vase
A slipper by the fireplace
A cello lying in its case
Soon she's down the stairs
Her morning elegance she wears
The sound of water makes her dream
Awoken by a cloud of steam
She pours a daydream in a cup
A spoon of sugar sweetens up
And She fights for her life
As she puts on her coat
And she fights for her life on the train
She looks at the rain
As it pours
And she fights for her life
As she goes in a store
With a thought she has caught
By a thread
She pays for the bread
And She goes...
Nobody knows
Sun been down for days
A winter melody she plays
The thunder makes her contemplate
She hears a noise behind the gate
Perhaps a letter with a dove
Perhaps a stranger she could love
And She fights for her life
As she puts on her coat
And she fights for her life on the train
She looks at the rain
As it pours
And she fights for her life
As she goes in a store
With a thought she has caught
By a thread
She pays for the bread
And She goes...
Nobody knows
And She fights for her life
As she puts on her coat
And she fights for her life on the train
She looks at the rain
As it pours
And she fights for her life
Where people are pleasently strange
And counting the change
And She goes...
Nobody knows
A letter from God to us women
When I created the heavens and the earth, I spoke them into being. When I created man, I formed him and breathed life into his nostrils. But you, woman, I fashioned after I breathed the breath of life into man because your nostrils are too delicate. I allowed a deep sleep to come over him so I could patiently and perfectly fashion you. Man was put to sleep so that he could not interfere with the creativity.
From one bone, I fashioned you. I chose the bone that protects man's life. I chose the rib, which protects his heart and lungs and supports him, as you are meant to do. Around this one bone, I shaped you.... I modeled you. I created you perfectly and beautifully.
Your characteristics are as the rib, strong yet delicate and fragile. You provide protection for the most delicate organ in man, his heart. His heart is the center of his being; his lungs hold the breath of life. The rib cage will allow itself to be broken before it will allow damage to the heart. Support man as the rib cage supports the body. You were not taken from his feet, to be under him, nor were you taken from his head, to be above him. You were taken from his side, to stand beside him and be held close to his side.
You are my perfect angel.....You are my beautiful little girl. You have grown to be a splendid woman of excellence and my eyes fill when I see the virtues in your heart.
Your eyes......don't change them.
Your lips - how lovely when they part in prayer.
Your nose, so perfect in form.
Your hands so gentle to touch.
I've caressed your face in your deepest sleep.
I've held your heart close to mine.
Of all that lives and breathes, you are most like me. Adam walked with me in the cool of the day, yet he was lonely. He could not see me or touch me. He could only feel me. So everything I wanted Adam to share and experience with me, I fashioned in you; my holiness, my strength, my purity, my love, my protection and support. You are special because you are an extension of me. Man represents my image, woman my emotions. Together, you represent the totality of God.
So man......treat women well. Love her, respect her, for she is fragile but yet strong at the same time.

Gardasil...
Another "local" story about the bad effects of Gardasil....
A 22-year-old woman who played sports with my daughter at St. Charles Parish in the Kansas City Northland during grade school (homeschool kids & public school kids can play on the parish school teams) received the Gardasil vaccine and was severely damaged by it. She experienced paralysis and other horrible side effects, was hospitalized, and had to quit college. This was in April of 2007, and she is just now getting somewhat back to reasonable health, but her doctor says it will take 3 years for some of the effects to end. This is a beautiful, intelligent young woman who had a great future ahead of her, and who knows what her life will be like now?
Yes, the damaging effects of this vaccine are very real, and it's not even that good at doing what is claimed.
